Unlike other roofing companies, in most cases we don’t require pre-payment in order to begin your roof installation. Depending on the project, there may be a down payment requested with the balance paid upon completion, but for most projects a payment in full will be required when the job is completed.

The Insurance Claims Process
-
Step 1
Call us at (972) 223-1765 to inspect your roof for damage.
-
Step 2
If your damage appears to qualify for a claim, you will then contact your homeowners insurance claims department and request that an adjuster inspect your roof.
-
Step 3
Notify Centennial of when the adjuster is scheduled to inspect your roof. A member of our team will meet with the insurance adjuster to look at the damages and help to get you a fair damage assessment.
-
Step 4
After your insurance has approved the roof and sent you the paperwork, contact Centennial. Our team will review the proposal to ensure it is correct. If the insurance proposal is correct, we will move forward with a contract. A Centennial technician will meet with you to make material selections. If we see damaged items not covered or insurance is not offering a fair market value, we will review alternative options.
-
Step 5
Our project manager will call to schedule the roof installation. After the roof is installed, Centennial will collect the first insurance check and the homeowners deductible. Centennial will send the insurance company the homeowner’s final invoice once all work is completed. Once the homeowner receives that final check, they should contact Centennial to pick up the check or mail it to our office.
*Homeowner Representation
- Centennial cannot file the claim or represent the homeowner in the insurance claims process. We will assist the homeowner to ensure the process is done correctly.
**Deductibles
- Centennial operates with only the highest standards of integrity. In 2019, the Texas Legislature passed HB2102 that prohibits a contractor from waiving or not collecting a deductible when working with insurance claims.
- This law prohibits roofing contractors from:
- Paying, waving, absorbing, or in any way declining to charge or collect the deductible
- Providing rebates or credits that will offset all or part of the deductible
- Assisting the insured in avoiding payment of their deductible.
